The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was initially introduced in 2013, and the rollout across Australia got completed in 2020, run and managed by NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency), an Australian governmental agency.
The NDIS puts people with disability First – allowing them to decide their own future and supporting all the participants with funding that matches their individual requirements and aspirations.
Every Australian citizen with a disability has different needs. Your NDIS funding supports your disability, helps you manage your life well, and works towards your goals.
